Bradley Barcola scored twice as Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain crushed Montpellier 6-0 in their first home game of the season on Friday.
PSG dominated from start to finish at the Parc des Princes, securing their second consecutive win following a 4-1 triumph over Le Havre in their league opener last week.
Barcola opened the scoring in the fourth minute with a brilliant solo run down the left wing. Marco Asensio then doubled the lead in the 24th minute, finishing off a slick team move that exposed Montpellier's weak defense.
Barcola added his second goal just eight minutes into the second half, tapping in from close range after a precise pass from Ousmane Dembélé. Achraf Hakimi made it 4-0, calmly converting Nuno Mendes' pinpoint cross five minutes later.
Warren Zaire-Emery got in on the action with a goal in the 60th minute, courtesy of another assist from Dembélé. Substitute Lee Kang-in completed the rout with a fine strike from the edge of the box eight minutes before the final whistle.
