How to Apply for HSC Answer Script Rechecking (Board Challenge 2024)

If you're dissatisfied with your HSC or equivalent exam results, you have the option to apply for a re-evaluation, starting from tomorrow (Wednesday). The application window will remain open until October 22, as per the Dhaka Secondary and Higher Education Board's notice.

The rechecking process, also called the "HSC Board Challenge," allows students to submit a request for re-evaluation of their answer scripts. Here's how you can apply:

Steps to Apply for HSC Answer Script Rechecking:

1. Use a Teletalk Prepaid SIM: To submit the application, you need a Teletalk prepaid SIM card.

2. Send an SMS:

   • Open the SMS option on your phone.
   • Type: RSC <space> Board's first three letters <space> Roll Number <space> Subject Code.
   • Send the SMS to 16222.
   • For example, if you're from the Dhaka board, it would look like this:
     RSC DHA 123456 111.

3. Receive Confirmation: After sending the SMS, you will receive a reply with a PIN code and the necessary payment details for the application process.

4. Confirm the Application:

   • To confirm, type: RSC <space> YES <space> PIN <space> Contact Number.
   • Send it again to 16222.
   • Example of a confirmation SMS:
     RSC YES 78945 01234567890.

5. Fee: A fee of Tk 150 will be deducted from your mobile balance for each subject's recheck request. If you wish to challenge multiple subjects, list the subject codes, separated by commas.

   • For Madrasa Board: Use "MAD" in place of the board code.
   • For Technical Education Board: Use "TEC".

Once your application is successfully submitted, wait for the updated results from the respective education board. Be sure to complete the process before the deadline of October 22.
